Important note regarding Three Gems products

Any mention of the medicinal or therapeutic properties of ingredients is for information only. We do not make any recommendation of suitability for any particular case. If you are considering the use of any Three Gems products for medicinal or therapeutic use, we strongly recommend you consult a qualified herbalist or medical practitioner.

Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible if there is an issue and we will gladly honour any claim made under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act

If your product is not as described on our website, or is received in an unusable condition we will refund the purchase price or replace the product.

Privacy Policy - What do we do with your information?

When you purchase something from our on-line store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, postal address and email address.

With your permission, we may send you emails about Three Gems, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Website hosting

Our website uses ‘cookies’, (small bits of data, which are sent to your Internet browser and stored on your computer) which allow us to recall your preferences when you re-visit our site. Most websites do this. Cookies can be used to identify your account in our system whenever you are logged in, but don’t carry any personal information about you.

You can choose to turn off cookies in your browser settings; however, this will mean that some of our website functions will be unavailable to you, e.g. you may not be able to sign in.

Payment

If you choose to pay for your online purchases with a credit card, this will go through the Stripe payment gateway. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa and Mastercard.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information if any information is inaccurate at any time.
